Job summary

Oasis Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations. This in-person role emphasizes senior care and collaboration with a compassionate team.

The position offers PART TIME and PRN options with competitive wages and opportunities to support patients' ADL/IADL goals, supervise COTAs, and educate families and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
• Familiarity with ADL/IADL assessment tools (e.g. Katz, Lawton).
• License to practice occupational therapy is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality occupational therapy services in accordance with standards and department procedures.
• Evaluate residents to gather data for treatment planning and implement evaluations as indicated.
• Supervise and direct COTAs in the execution of the treatment plan.
• Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in ADL/IADL.
• Recommend and train in adaptive equipment use.
• Educate family members and caregivers on treatment plans and progress.
• Observe, document, and report progress toward long- and short-term goals.

Skills

Proven working experience as OT

Knowledge of OT principles

Oasis Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitation services in one or more of our service locations!.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• To provide quality Occupational therapy services and initiates referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards.
• To evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation and conduct specialized evaluations as indicated.
• To supervise and direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in the implementation of the treatment plan.
• Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL)
• Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use
• Guide and educate family members and caregivers
• Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goals

Skills

• Proven working experience as occupational therapist
• Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy
• Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools ( e.g. Katz ADL scale, Lawton IADL scale)
• Valid license to practice occupational therapy
