Job summary

Total Care Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence in daily living activities, cognitive function, and safety in assisted living and independent living settings.

As a clinician-owned, therapist-led company expanding throughout Central Indiana, we offer competitive compensation, mentorship, and opportunities for advancement. This PRN role in Fishers IN requires current OT license and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Current State Occupational Therapist (OT) License.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
• Experience in geriatrics, home health, assisted living, or skilled nursing preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and establish individualized occupational therapy plans of care.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to improve ADLs, IADLs, upper extremity function, cognition, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
• Assess and recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
• Reassess patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with state regulations.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Educate residents, caregivers, and facility staff on adaptive techniques, home safety, fall prevention, and energy conservation strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.

Salary Range: $60.00 To $70.00 Hourly

Setting: Assisted Living and Independent Living Communities
Available Locations:

Fishers E

Scheduling: Monday-Friday ⎸PRN (Weekends available but not required)

Compensation: Per-Visit (based on years of experience)

• Evaluations: $60-$70 per visit
• Reassessments: $45-$55 per visit

About the Role
