Total Care Therapy is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Evaluations and treatments will focus on improving independence in daily activities, upper extremity function, cognition, and safety for older adults in assisted and independent living communities.

You will evaluate residents, develop individualized plans, supervise COTAs where allowed, document in EMR, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifikationen

• Current State Occupational Therapist (OT) license required.
• CPR/BLS certification current and valid.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Salary Range: $60.00 To $70.00 Hourly

Setting: Assisted Living and Independent Living Communities
Available Locations:

CuyahogaFalls and Hudson Split Position

Scheduling: Monday-Friday ⎸Part-Time (Weekends available but not required)

Compensation: Per-Visit (based on years of experience)

• Evaluations: $60-$70 per visit
• Reassessments: $45-$55 per visit

About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans that improve independence with activities of daily living, upper extremity function, cognition, and overall safety.

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and establish individualized occupational therapy plans of care.

Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to improve ADLs, IADLs, upper extremity function, cognition, balance, coordination, and functional independence.

Assess and recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.

Reassess patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with state regulations.

Complete timely and accurate documentation using the electronic medical record (EMR).

Educate residents, caregivers, and facility staff on adaptive techniques, home safety, fall prevention, and energy conservation strategies.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

Current State Occupational Therapist (OT) License

Current CPR/BLS Certification

Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance

Experience in geriatrics, home health, assisted living, or skilled nursing preferred but not required
