Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Optum Washington is hiring a full-time Occupational Medicine Physician in Everett to focus on work-related injury/illness and occupational exposures within a COHE-designated program.

The role includes a 7-week onboarding plan, a 4-day work week option, robust administrative support, and a typical day of seeing 15–17 patients with generous vacation, CME, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified in preventive medicine or occupational medicine, or able to obtain certification before employment.
• WA state medical license or ability to obtain before employment.
• Current WA DEA certificate or ability to obtain before employment.

Responsibilities

• Focus solely on work-related injury/illness and occupational exposures.
• COHE designation with adherence to L&I best practices.
• See up to 15-17 patients daily with 60 min for new patients and 30 min for follow-ups.
• Leadership opportunities within the department and organization.
