Job summary

Optum Washington is hiring a full-time Occupational Medicine Physician to focus on work-related injuries and environmental exposures within a COHE-designated program. The team offers flexible schedules, including a 4-day work week, with a thorough 7-week onboarding and ample clinical support.

Typical day includes seeing 15-17 patients, with 60 minutes for new patients and 30 minutes for follow-ups. Leadership paths exist, and after-hours/weekend calls are limited to critical situations.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Preventive Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Occupational Medicine, or a closely related specialty.
• Unrestricted WA State Medical License or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• Current WA DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Focus on work-related injury/illness and environmental exposures.
• See up to 15-17 patients per day; 60 minutes for new patients, 30 minutes for follow-ups.
