Ascension is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Occupational Health Team at the Manhattan Occupational Health Clinic in Manhattan, KS, with periodic coverage at NBAF. The role features a full-time schedule, no call, and a focus on preventive care, injury evaluation, and workplace health management.

You will provide high-quality occupational health services, maintain medical documentation, and collaborate within a nonprofit Catholic health system.

Competenze

• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire.
• Certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Kansas preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

This is an exceptional full-time opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our Occupational Health Team, providing services at the Manhattan Occupational Health Clinic with periodic coverage at the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF).

• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Provide high-quality occupational health services to the Manhattan-area companies and fulfill a part-time role serving NBAF employees, researchers, maintenance, and animal handlers
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage work-related illnesses and injuries
• Perform preventative health assessments, screenings, and immunizations
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing preferred.

Education

• Master's degree of Nursing required.
