Job summary

Location: Mulvane, KS — Facility Name: Ascension Medical Group. Schedule: Full Time. CME allowance: $1,500 annually.

The role is outpatient, with no call duties, in a nonprofit health system. You will join a team of physicians and APPs, providing patient-centered care and ensuring smooth transitions, while maintaining documentation for compliance and reimbursement.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from Kansas Board of Nursing.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from Kansas Board of Nursing.
• Master's degree of Nursing.
• 2-4 years of experience preferred.

• Collaborate with care teams to ensure seamless patient transitions and effective discharge planning.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation to support clinical care, compliance, and reimbursement.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Master's degree of Nursing required.

Work Experience

• 2-4 years experience preferred.
