Indiana University Health is seeking a Medical Assistant II for Occupational Medicine. The role supports employee health, workplace safety, and occupational wellness programs, with four 10-hour shifts Mon-Fri and no weekends or holidays.

You will perform direct patient care, front-office duties, and EMR maintenance under supervision, while upholding organization standards and precepting MA team members as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; MA program graduation mandatory.
• Current MA certification from CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, and/or CMAC required.
• AHA BLS certification required; other advanced life support may be needed.
• Knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, ADA, ICD-10 and CPT coding expected.
• Strong clinical and front-office competencies with accurate data entry.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under supervision and maintain clinical direction.
• Perform general lab work and assist with procedures and referrals as needed.
• Handle patient registration, scheduling, and EMR data entry with accuracy.
• Ensure timely completion of orders, treatments, and documentation per policy.
• Precept MA team members or externs as directed by leadership.
