Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring an Occupational Health Nurse to support health and safety programs for team members in our plant environment. You will conduct health assessments, provide wellness education, and ensure confidentiality and ethical practice in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires RN licensure, strong communication, and the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies. Training is provided; travel to local clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold current RN license in the state.
• 1+ years nursing experience preferred but not required; new grads with LPN or BSN considered; Occupational Health experience not required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical history and physical assessments to promote health and prevent illness.
• Provide education and guidance on communicable diseases and wellness initiatives.
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical practice.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure team members' safety and recovery.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies to provide first aid and CPR as needed.
