Tyson Foods is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to promote and protect worker health within our Mississippi plant. The role involves assessments, health education, and rapid response to incidents, with on‑site responsibilities and on‑the‑job training for Occupational Health processes.

The position expects an RN license and solid communication skills; travel to local clinics may be required, and a focus on confidentiality and teamwork will guide daily practice.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer skills; comfortable with electronic medical documentation.
• Ability to work in a team with other health and safety professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical history and physical assessments to promote health and prevent illness.
• Educate team members on communicable diseases and wellness initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and recovery.
• Respond to incidents with first aid and CPR as needed.
