Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program OR military training (HM, 68W, 4N0X1)
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross
• One year of Medical Assistant experience
• Clinical externship completed or extensive clinical experience
• Valid driver’s license; travel within Florida market

Responsibilities

• Facilitate collection of urine specimens from employees.
• Perform respiratory fit testing and training (baseline and annually).
• Label and document specimens for processing; transfer to labs.
• Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA standards with proper PPE.
• Assist with department clerical duties and supply management.
• Submit accurate time, travel, expense, and collection logs in a timely manner.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Medical Assistant Program graduate

BLS Certification

One year of Medical Assistant experience

Clinical externship completion or extensive clinical experience

Valid driver’s license; ability to travel within Florida
