Job summary

ProHealth is seeking an Onsite Medical Assistant to administer occupational testing at multiple locations in the Florida panhandle. The role involves travel to sites, collecting specimens, and may include after-hours or weekend work.

Qualified candidates have a Certified Phlebotomy credential and at least one year in a medical office. Strong multi-tasking, basic computer skills, and adherence to policy are essential.

Qualifications

• Certified Phlebotomy required; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical office setting.
• US citizen or authorized to work in the US; ability to multi-task.
• Basic computer skills; EMR experience a plus; background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational tests such as breath alcohol, respirator fit tests, and others as needed.
• Collect specimens for drug screens via random and post-accident testing.
• Complete paperwork with accuracy and scan/maintain patient information.
• Ensure supplies for testing are available and ready.
• Perform blood draws and prepare samples for testing.
• Operate office equipment and computer programs; report issues to managers.
• Attend after-hours, late-night, holiday and weekend calls as required.
• Handle administrative tasks like filing, greeting patients, and scanning.
