Job summary

ProHealth is seeking an Onsite Medical Assistant to administer occupational testing across multiple sites in the Florida panhandle. Travel will be required to conduct testing and collect specimens, with potential late hours and weekend work to meet business needs.

The role requires a Certified Phlebotomist Certification and a high school diploma (or equivalent), plus at least 1 year of medical office experience. EMR experience is a plus; full-time position with benefits including 401K.

Qualifications

• Certified phlebotomist required; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of experience in a medical office setting.
• Ability to work outside standard hours including nights and weekends.
• US citizen or authorized to work in the US.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy in paperwork.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to obtain access to military bases.
• Strong commitment to patient care and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational tests such as breath alcohol and respirator fit tests.
• Collect specimens for drug screens (random and post-accident).
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Scan and maintain patient information following policy.
• Ensure supplies are available for testing and operate office equipment.
• May assist at clinic and lab locations and handle after-hours calls.
• Perform general administrative tasks and greet patients.
