Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Nurse Case Manager to oversee occupational health casework across client sites in Charlotte, NC. You will manage injury and illness cases from notification to closure, coordinate follow-up, and ensure timely return-to-work decisions in alignment with client and company policies.

The role emphasizes clinical quality, documentation accuracy, and collaboration with onsite teams, HR, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (or equivalent) required.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience, preferably in occupational health.
• Experience with injury case management, chart review, and clinical documentation preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage occupational injury and illness cases from notification through closure.
• Establish and document timely case follow-up and return-to-work progress.
• Coordinate with onsite medical personnel promptly when issues arise.
• Escalate complex or high-risk cases to leadership.
• Maintain case status, action items, and closure criteria.
• Support POET programs including drug/Alcohol testing and capacity testing.
