Trinity Management, LLC is seeking an Occupancy Specialist in New Haven, CT to manage annual and interim recertifications while ensuring compliance with LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 programs. The role involves coordinating verifications, communicating deadlines, and maintaining audit-ready files.

The ideal candidate will have affordable housing experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Affordable housing experience required.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Strong knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, and affordable housing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage annual and interim recertifications from start to finish with accuracy.
• Process income, asset, employment, and third-party verifications per program requirements.
• Maintain compliance with LIHTC, HUD, Section 8 and other regs.
• Communicate with residents about documentation, deadlines and requirements.
• Maintain organized files for audit-ready readiness.
• Monitor recertification schedules, renewals, vacancies and deadlines.
• Assist with applicant processing, waitlist and occupancy tracking as needed.
• Provide responsive customer service to residents.
