Planet Group is seeking an Operations Control Center (OCC) Supervisor to lead real-time operations from Bloomington, MN. This onsite, full-time role manages the 24/7 OCC team, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient control of renewable energy assets while coordinating with SCADA and grid operations.

You will mentor staff, handle shift supervision, and coordinate with the OCC Manager to ensure data integrity, event response, and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred; equivalent business or military leadership experience is highly valued.
• 5+ years supervisory experience in a 24/7 shift environment (power/industrial).
• Current NERC Balancing and Interchange certification, or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Familiarity with NERC, FERC, and regional system operator requirements.
• Strong working knowledge of SCADA equipment and industrial communication systems.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee OCC Operators during your shift, manage the 24/7 multi-person crew schedule, and step in as the active supervisor when needed.
• Mentor staff on operational guidelines, processes, and safety procedures, providing technical guidance to resolve system performance issues.
• Partner with the OCC Manager/Director on personnel updates, documentation or necessary disciplinary actions.
• Remain on-call for emergency situations and cover alternate shifts as needed.
• Monitor and control plant setpoints using SCADA systems to maximize asset value and efficiency.
• Direct electrical substation switching based on standard practices to meet requirements.
• Monitor weather data, equipment temperatures, and voltage outputs with real-time logs.
• Ensure operations follow regulatory requirements and contractual obligations.
• Lead team through simultaneous plant events, prioritizing safety and quick resolution.
• Analyze operating data to spot performance trends and troubleshoot plant control issues with maintenance teams.
• Assist with functional testing and data verification during onboarding of new generation projects.
