Job summary

EDF Renewable Energy, Inc. is seeking an experienced Operations Control Center Manager to lead the OCC for renewable sites. You will oversee 24/7 real-time operations, manage staffing and performance against KPIs, and drive improvements across processes and technology.

Reporting to the Operational Technologies Director, you will ensure regulatory compliance and collaborate with OT, IT, Generation, and field staff to deliver reliable, low-carbon energy and strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or engineering (MBA preferred).
• 10 years of real-time control room experience in renewable energy.
• At least 5 years in a management role.
• Experience with high voltage systems and transmission networks.
• Experience or knowledge of NERC regulations and utility relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the OCC.
• Maintain the 24/7 shift schedule and real-time operations.
• Define strategy for the control center and set goals.
• Set policies and procedures for productive operations.
• Ensure OCC compliance with standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Oversee delivery of control room services and KPIs for contractual adherence.
• Manage OCC budgets and staff-related activities.
• Lead operator onboarding and training programs.
• Continuously improve OCC operations through lessons learned.
• Communicate effectively with control room and OT teams.
