Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality operates La Quinta Resort and Club, seeking a customer-focused Bartender to deliver memorable hospitality from the initial greeting to departure. You will craft beverages quickly, engage guests, and maintain a seamless bar operation in a world-class resort environment.

Responsibilities include bar setup, menu guidance, accurate order taking, interdepartmental collaboration, and precise bill handling.

• Maintain proper and adequate bar setup.
• Guide guests on their beverage journey with descriptive menu recommendations.
• Take orders accurately and confirm special requests.
• Master the bar by knowing details to enhance conversation.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Address guest concerns to reach a quick resolution.
• Present accurate bills and process payments.
• Stock and stock-control of beer, wine, spirits, and garnishes daily.
• Prepare drinks by standard recipes and portion control.

The Bartender is responsible for delivering memorable hospitality to our guests with genuine and personable connections and engaging service from the initial greeting to their departure. As a Bartender, it is your responsibility to seek to understand the guest’s needs while preparing perfect beverages in a timely manner. This is a tremendous opportunity for a driven person to grow and learn at a world-class property!Your role:Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar areaMaintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar dailyGuide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menuBe accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requestsBe the master of the bar, understanding the details to enhance the conversationWork collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staffAssist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happyFinalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentationRequisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spiritsResponsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control.Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guestLocks up and stores all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank.What are we looking for?Compensation:$16.90-$16.90Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
