Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality, at the La Quinta Resort and Club, is seeking a highly motivated Bartender dedicated to delivering memorable guest experiences. You will greet guests, guide their beverage journey, and ensure accurate orders while maintaining a clean, efficient bar and stock.

This role offers growth potential and a supportive team environment. The position requires guest-focused service, timely beverage preparation, and collaboration with restaurant staff.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering hospitality and memorable guest service.
• Ability to understand guest needs and describe beverages clearly.
• Capable of handling transactions and balancing cash/register.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist at the bar area.
• Take orders accurately and input into the point-of-sale system.
• Describe menu drinks and upsell to guests.
• Maintain bar setup and stock of beverages, garnishes, and perishables.
• Prepare beverages per standard recipes and ensure portion control.
• Collaborate with restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Process payments and finalize guest checks.

The Bartender is responsible for delivering memorable hospitality to our guests with genuine and personable connections and engaging service from the initial greeting to their departure. As a Bartender, it is your responsibility to seek to understand the guest’s needs while preparing perfect beverages in a timely manner. This is a tremendous opportunity for a driven person to grow and learn at a world-class property!Your role:Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar areaMaintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar dailyGuide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menuBe accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requestsBe the master of the bar, understanding the details to enhance the conversationWork collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staffAssist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happyFinalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentationRequisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spiritsResponsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control.Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guestLocks up and stores all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank.What are we looking for?Compensation:$16.90-$16.90Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
