Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Obstetrics Float Pool on the Night Shift (3 x 12-hour shifts). Float pool units include Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, and Intermediate Care Nursery, requiring prior L&D and maternal-baby experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
• NRP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead practices to create a safe patient environment and best experience across the continuum.
