Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Obstetrics Float Pool on night shift. The role covers Labor and Delivery, Mother-Baby, and Intermediate Care Nursery in a 36-hour, full-time schedule across three 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities include providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care using the nursing process with emphasis on safety, evidence-based practice, and exceptional patient experience. Requires RN license and valid BLS/NRP certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license valid in the practicing state.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• NRP certification.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery, Maternal-Baby, or SCN required.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and strong communication while ensuring a safe patient environment and best experience across the continuum.
