Job summary

Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Obstetrics Float Pool on the Day shift. The position is full-time and based in our Family Birthing Center with a 24/7 care focus on labor, antepartum, triage, and nursery support.

The ideal candidate has accredited nursing education, an active RN license in Illinois, and BLS/NRP certifications, with preferred L&D or Mother Baby experience. Join a trusted hospital with a long-standing community presence.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
NRP.
Previous L&D, Mother Baby and/or SCN experience required.
