Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Certified First Assistant (CFA) program preferred.
• Certifications required: NCCSA, CSA, SA-C, CSFA.
• Knowledge of microbiology, physics, mathematics, anatomy, physiology.

Responsabilidades

• Under RN direction, sets up and maintains the surgical field and assists the surgeon during operative procedures.
• Performs observable, technical behaviors delegated by the surgeon.
• Assists in positioning, case prep, and exposure of the field during surgery.
• Assists in achieving hemostasis and closure of surgical incisions; applies wound dressings.
