UC Health is hiring a PRN Health Unit Coordinator for the night shift in the Obstetric Services department at West Chester Hospital. The HUC provides clerical support to the clinical team, transcribes orders, and maintains patient records while coordinating communications among patients, staff and physicians.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of customer service experience, a high school diploma, and basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• HUC education from college or vocational school preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience.

Mansioni

• Transcribe physician orders and enter computer orders promptly.
• Maintain patient records from admission to discharge.
• Serve as communication link between patients, staff, physicians and departments.
• Answer phones, greet patients, and assist with patient charges and logistics.
