Job summary
Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit (3S) in Winfield, IL. The Days shift runs 7am–7:30pm with rotating weekends, on a fast-paced 16-bed observation unit.
The RN will assess and coordinate discharge planning, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure adherence to ANA standards. Illinois RN licensure and BLS are required; ADN is acceptable with BSN plan within three years.
Qualifications
- Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration abilities.
Responsibilities
- Collects and analyzes data, identifies outcomes, and coordinates care delivery.
- Directs care and utilizes nursing staff appropriately.
- Collaborates with patient, families, physicians and staff, documenting the plan of care.
