Job summary

Frederick Health Hospital, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Part Time, night shift (1900-0730) in Labor & Delivery. The role involves 48 hours per pay period across two 12-hour shifts, with weekends and holidays rotation and on-call requirements.

Minimum of 1 year Labor & Delivery experience is required. Licensure as an RN in Maryland or a compact state is mandatory, along with BLS; NRP and C-EFM certifications are also required or must be obtained within specified

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or a compact state.
• Associates degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred or willing to obtain within 5 years of employment.
• Min 1 yr Labor & Delivery Nursing Experience Required.
• BLS, NRP, and C-EFM certifications required/preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using nursing standards and develop care plans.
• Identify patient needs and priorities, document changes.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments per department standards.
• Initiate and monitor individualized care plans with multidisciplinary input.
• Educate patients and families; coordinate discharge planning.
• Float to other units as needed to support department goals.
