Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days.
• RN license required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform all nursing duties specific to the Observation unit.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for the care provided.
• Complete initial patient assessment and develop an appropriate plan of care.
• Monitor IV sites, IV pumps and equipment; respond to changes in patient status.
• Participate in staffing meetings and collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety.
