Job summary

UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill seeks a Clinical Nurse to provide competent nursing care in a fast-paced 25-bed observation unit. Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, you will coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

Requires RN licensure in NC, BLS, and at least one year of nursing experience with a commitment to continued education. This full-time, on-site role offers shift differentials and UNC Health benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of nursing experience.
• If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.
