Capital Health is seeking a patient care associate to perform and document continuous observation under the direction of a registered nurse. The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of experience, with a focus on attentive patient support and safety during shifts.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalency.
• Experience: One year of previous work experience.
• Knowledge and Skills: Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and to deal with problems.

Responsibilities

• Ensures constant attendance throughout shift for assigned patient.
• Ensures patient is within reaching distance at all times including during bathroom and shower use and during visiting hours.
• Keeps company with patient and helps with eating and other difficult tasks for the patient.
• Accompanies patient transport to testing areas.
• Adapts willingly to changing department demands and staffing patterns.
