Capital Health seeks a dedicated nursing assistant to provide continuous observation under the direction of a registered nurse. The role requires 40 hours per week in a full-time equivalent position.

The successful candidate will perform basic care tasks, document observations, and support patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, transporting patients for tests, and reporting patient status to the nurse.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• One year of previous work experience.
• Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures constant attendance throughout shift for assigned patient.
• Ensures patient is visible at all times.
• Assists patient with eating and other tasks as directed by nurse.
• Accompanies patient transport to testing areas; reports intake to nurse.
• Remains flexible in staffing patterns and assignments.
