Job summary

Apple's Observability Experience team seeks a User Experience and User Interface Software Engineer to design and build the next generation of observability tools that power Apple services at enormous scale.

You will work with React, Grafana, and telemetry data to create dashboards and UX that help engineers monitor Apple Intelligence, Music, Maps, iCloud, and more. You’ll influence end-to-end UX, promote reusability, and contribute to a best-in-class observability platform.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building UIs with React.
• Experience using Grafana and creating dashboards.
• Experience monitoring applications with observability tools or services.
• Experience with PromQL.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry is desirable.
• Deep understanding of core CS concepts including data structures, algorithms, and concurrent programming.
• Deep understanding of UX design principles and best practices.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build UIs for observability tools used by Apple services.
• Collaborate with teams to transform telemetry into actionable insights.
