Job summary

Apple Cloud UI team is looking for a frontend-focused Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain our cloud portal using React and TypeScript. You will collaborate with HI designers, product managers, and other engineers to create fast, accessible interfaces and to deliver features end-to-end.

As a Directly Responsible Individual, you will own projects from conception to deployment, write tests, participate in code reviews, and explore GenAI to improve workflows and products at Apple.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
• Experience building complex web applications with a focus on user experience.
• Experience implementing APIs in user interfaces.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with Node and full-stack development.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain features for our cloud portal using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with HI designers to translate designs into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.
• Work closely with product managers to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and develop timelines and roadmaps.
• Act as a DRI for projects, taking ownership from conception to deployment.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
• Contribute to the development of internal frontend tooling.
• Explore and prototype new technologies, including GenAI, to improve our workflows and products.
