Job summary

Apple is seeking enthusiastic developers to join the ASE Observability team in Seattle. You will design, build, and operate core observability platforms that help engineers monitor, debug, and optimize infrastructure at scale.

The role focuses on distributed tracing, logging, and profiling, with opportunities to mentor others and lead independent research in observability. You will collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver practical, high-performance solutions for millions of Apple

Qualifications

Experience designing, implementing and supporting highly scalable infrastructure services.
5 to 15 years of industry experience in backend distributed systems.
Deep understanding of core CS concepts including data structures, algorithms, and concurrent programming.
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical capabilities.
Passion for developing and testing clear, robust code.
Ability to learn and apply new technologies and frameworks.
Great communication skills.

Responsibilities

Requirement gathering across cross functional teams.
Developing practical, fault-tolerant high-performance distributed systems.
Leading and participating in technical design discussions across cross functional teams.
Gain in-depth understanding of the observability domain and come up with creative ideas in the domain.
Willingness to lead an independent research in the field of work.
