Job summary

Bitdeer is building an AI-operated GPU cloud — a global fleet of data centers running the world's most valuable compute, managed by a platform that observes, protects, and operates the fleet. The SRE Platform team defines the monitoring and automation substrate used by storage, network, GPU, and Kubernetes operators.

As an entry-level Software Engineer on the SRE / Monitoring Platform team, you will contribute to the NeoCloud SRE platform, take well-scoped components from design to production,

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Java, or Rust.
• CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, concurrency, networking, OS concepts.
• Distributed systems basics: idempotency, retries, back-pressure, caching, eventual consistency.
• Monitoring/observability exposure: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry; basic PromQL.
• Familiarity with Linux and shell; debugging tools.
• Kubernetes basics; some runtime on K8s.
• Git + CI basics; experience with CI pipelines.
• Test discipline: unit and integration tests as a habit.
• Clear written and verbal English communication.
• Curiosity and learning mindset for GPU/AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build collection agents and metrics/logs/storage components.
• Contribute to alerting, correlation, and SLO frameworks.
• Contribute to topology/service health and OSS-SRE tooling for Kubernetes ecosystems.
• Develop remediation, workflow components, and job scheduling features.
• Instrument services with metrics/logs/traces; build dashboards and runbooks.
• Write tests and participate in chaos/soak testing led by seniors.
