Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to build and operate a strategic observability platform that strengthens service resilience and delivers actionable insights. You will be a hands-on contributor on a high-performing agile team, turning telemetry into insights and modernizing event-to-incident workflows across Linux, Windows, and networks.

You will drive automation, secure coding practices, and AI-assisted engineering throughout platform operations in a hybrid on-prem/cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience in regulated production environments
• Proficiency with Linux and/or Windows server administration
• Hands-on experience delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure monitoring
• Strong understanding of observability using metrics, logs, and events with OpenTelemetry
• Automation experience with Python, Ansible, PowerShell/Bash and CI/CD workflows
• IaC and configuration management with Terraform
• Experience in hybrid on-prem and cloud environments

Responsibilities

• Engineer and improve the firm's Infrastructure Monitoring platforms for availability, performance, scalability, and security
• Build and run enterprise-grade monitoring across Linux, Windows, and complex network estates
• Leverage AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis while ensuring data sensitivity
• Design and implement platform services, telemetry collection, and onboarding patterns
• Develop automation and production code; review and improve code and configurations
• Drive incident readiness with robust RCA and resilience improvements
• Align platform capabilities with SLIs/SLOs and operational readiness
