Job summary

VPFW in the United States seeks an OB/GYN sonographer to perform ultrasound procedures, record findings, and forward images to the reading physician. The role requires maintaining equipment, ensuring timely documentation, and supporting a collaborative team.

Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN sonography experience with ARDMS OBGYN registered and BLS certification is required; NT credentialed is preferred. This on-site position offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for CME and PTO.

Qualifications

Knowledge of ALARA safety principles.
Proficient in ultrasound physics and instrumentation for image optimization.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrates good judgment in unfamiliar situations and seeks guidance as needed.
Performs work accurately and timely in a busy schedule.

Responsibilities

Performs ultrasound and other procedures on patients as directed.
Records findings, forwards images to reading physician.
Obtains and records all pertinent clinical information relating to the procedure.
Reviews charts for patient history.
Ensures all required written and computer documentation, forms and patient medical records are completed in a timely manner.
Maintains ultrasound supplies and cleans equipment.
Regular and predictable attendance.
