Job summary

A reputable healthcare provider in New York is seeking a part-time Sonographer for flexible work hours between 8:50 am to 5 pm, three days a week. Responsibilities include performing ultrasound examinations, maintaining equipment, and recording patient information. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in OBGYN and an ARDMS certification is preferred. This position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $40.00 - $55.00 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Perform gynecologic and obstetrics, and other areas of the body to diagnose medical conditions and to provide treatment.
• Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure.
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients in the office setting.
• Accurately record all patient information in the medical record.
• Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate patient care. Report to the appropriate medical staff of any abnormalities that require immediate attention.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic tests and procedures.
• Work under minimal supervision and cooperate with other team members.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Associate Degree Preferred; Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
• 2+ years experience in OBGYN.
• ARDMS certified / SPI / OBGYN registered desired.
• Well established multi‑location practice is looking to hire a Sonographer part time.
