Job summary

Women's Care in Tampa, FL is seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations, including routine and specialized OB/GYN procedures. The role requires ARDMS certification and 1–2 years of recent OB/GYN or MFM experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid OB/GYN ARDMS certification is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent OB/GYN or MFM experience.
• Experience with 3D–4D scans.
• Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers, providers and patients clearly.
• Experience using electronic medical records (eCW is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound examinations including routine and specialized procedures as directed.
• Conducts nuchal translucency scans and fetal surveys.
• Performs 3D-4D scans and evaluates image quality.
• Documents and updates information in the patient’s EMR.
• Represents the clinic professionally to patients and staff.
• Attends required meetings and participates in team activities.
• Complies with HIPAA rules and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
