Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Quality Improvement Project Specialist in the Department of OBGYN to drive a portfolio of quality and safety initiatives across ambulatory and inpatient settings. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, develop and manage project plans, measure performance, and sustain improvements through data analytics, reporting and education of clinical staff and leadership.

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred in a health-related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience; at least 1 year in clinical quality/patient safety.
  • Quality improvement certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, facilitate and manage multi-disciplinary quality and patient safety improvement projects.
  • Design, test and sustain process improvements using QI methodologies.
  • Oversee data collection, analytics and reporting for project status and outcomes.
  • Educate staff and leaders on quality measures and safety culture.
