Job summary

Avera Health's Brookings Clinic is seeking a qualified physician to provide and oversee direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, and care for patients within an established practice. You'll work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, following approved protocols and safety standards.

Eligible candidates include MDs or DOs licensed to practice in the state, with DEA registration; board eligibility/certification expected upon hire.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor licensed and board eligible or board certified.
• DO licensed and board eligible or board certified.
• DEA license (federal) required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients per protocol and standards.
• Provide medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain patient records and ensure safety and care standards.

Education

Medical Doctor - Board of Medicine Licensed and qualified to practice medicine in the state that services are provided and board certified or board eligible

Doctor of Osteopathy - Board of Medicine Licensed and qualified to practice medicine in the state that services are provided and board certified or board eligible

Federal Drug Enforcement Admin (DEA) license
