Job summary

Brookings Health System seeks a fellowship-trained Urology physician to join a multidisciplinary team at the Avera Brookings Clinic. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, diagnostic precision, and teamwork to move health forward for the community.

Primaries include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating urologic conditions with emphasis on quality and safety. The candidate should hold an MD or DO, be board-certified or eligible in urology, and have or obtain SD licensure and DEA registration

Qualifications

• Medical degree and board eligibility or board certification in urology.
• Licensed to practice medicine in South Dakota and eligible to obtain DEA license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for urology patients.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per approved protocols.
• Educate patients and families to promote health and compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for patient care and referrals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with safety standards.
