Job summary

Avera Brookings Clinic, a department of Brookings Health System, seeks a full-time Internal Medicine physician for day shifts with on-call responsibilities. The role focuses on comprehensive patient evaluation, diagnosis, and management within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor degree and licensed to practice in the state of South Dakota.
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
• DEA license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical evaluation and treatment per approved protocols.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Educate patients and families on health care and prevention.
• Collaborate with the care team to plan and coordinate referrals.
