Job summary

Avera Brookings Clinic, a Department of Brookings Health System, seeks a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy to provide comprehensive medical care within a defined practice area.

This role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients; performing procedures; educating patients and families; and maintaining precise records while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care. State licensure and board eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy and board certified or board eligible.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients according to approved protocols and standard of practice.
• Provides medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required.
• Maintains patient records accurately and coordinates referrals as needed.
• Complies with safety, regulatory, and clinical standards.
