Nebraska Methodist Health System's Omaha Area Clinic is seeking a Medical Receptionist for the OBGYN department. This full-time role supports front-desk operations, patient check-in, scheduling, and basic EMR tasks in a busy outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, collecting demographics and insurance information, answering calls, and coordinating with clinicians to ensure smooth patient flow.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in a medical office is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Registers patients for appointments by collecting and verifying demographics and insurance information.
• Greets, directs, and assists patients on arrival and directs to appropriate staff.
• Answers phones to schedule appointments and handle messages.
• Prepares records for visits from EMR/chart contents.
• Processes insurance inquiries and referrals with timely submission.
• Distributes forms, letters and mail accurately.
• Provides patient care information appropriate to age group.
