Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers in delivering high-quality patient care. The role involves direct patient interaction, assisting with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection, and helping coordinate care.

You will welcome patients, document histories and vital signs, administer medications as directed, and relay test results and instructions.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Diploma or GED. Completion of MA program and externship/internship; EMT or Paramedic program; or Certified Athletic Trainer.
• If credentialed, maintains current MA Re-Certification CEUs.

Aufgaben

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and serve as a liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
