Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to support providers, prepare patients, document histories and vital signs, and assist with exams and procedures. The role emphasizes patient education and care coordination to foster positive health outcomes.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED with an accredited MA program, plus CPR certification. EMT/Paramedic or MA credentialing options are considered.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED plus completion of an accredited MA program with externship/internship.
• If credentialed, maintains current MA Recertification CEUs.
• CPR certification is required.
• MA certification options: CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or CMAC.

Aufgaben

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and liaise between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
