Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support providers and deliver high-quality patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, manage testing, and help coordinate care to ensure a positive healthcare experience.

Responsibilities include welcoming patients, taking histories and vitals, assisting with exams, administering medications, and educating families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited MA program and externship/internship preferred.
• EMT/Paramedic or athletic trainer credentials welcomed.
• MA certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC) preferred.
• MA re-certification CEUs maintained.

Responsabilités

• Welcome and prepare patients for appointments.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and serve as a liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
