Job summary

Together Women’s Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support our OB/GYN team. The MA will obtain patient history, prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, and document in the EMR, ensuring accurate and compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate will have medical office experience, EMR proficiency, and a preference for CCMA certification or OB/GYN exposure. Join a supportive team dedicated to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a medical office setting and/or graduation from a certified Medical Assistant program is required.
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years in a medical office.
• Experience with EMR systems and medical terminology is required.
• Previous experience at an OB/GYN office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient health history and enter into EMR.
• Set up and prepare exam room for patient visit.
• Perform preliminary physical tests and obtain vitals.
• Set up diagnostic/treatment equipment.
• Administer injections and perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Complete all documentation in patient medical records, test requests, medications and education.
• May perform scribe duties.
• Assist the physician as directed.
• Must work well in a team environment.
