Job summary

Advocate Health, based in Charlotte, NC, seeks a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for its Shelby OBGYN practice. You will support patient prep, administer medications, assist with procedures, and coordinate care across offices.

The role requires an LPN license, completion of a Practical Nursing program, and BLS certification within 45 days. Travel between offices is expected; 38 hours weekly with a 8–5/7–2 schedule. Benefits eligible.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state where the team member practices.
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 45 days of hire.
• Experience is not required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients for exams, document vital signs and health information.
• Perform laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and safety standards.
• Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy as ordered.
• Educate patients and coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain exam rooms and medical equipment; ensure cleanliness and readiness.
