The University of Chicago’s Department BSD OBG - Administration is seeking a senior administrator to lead financial and management functions, support teaching, research, and clinical care, and guide a team of exempt and non-exempt employees. The role involves budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning aligned with departmental and university goals.

The successful candidate will supervise recruitment, adapt plans to resource constraints, and produce reports to monitor department performance

• Work Experience: 7+ years in related job discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manages professional employees and/or supervisors.
• Accountable for performance and results of a team within own discipline.
• Provides leadership and supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff.
• Manages faculty recruitment and onboarding.
• Adapts departmental plans to resources and operational challenges.
• Develops and prepares reports to track financial and operational performance of revenue cycle.
• Supports department leaders in developing and deploying section level strategy.
